Julie Herridge - 'Vamp' - 'Sara Pax' Lead Comic
Julie is our longest serving vampire, having tread the boards with the undead for over a fifteen years. Born in a small NSW country town called West Wyalong, Julie had visions of being famous and eccentric. She went through high school with every bad eighties punk hair do and got her passion for the theatre attending the Christian drama group (ironic isn't it?). After high school, Julie headed for the bright lights of Wagga Wagga, where she completed a degree in Theatre Performance at Charles Sturt University. A holiday to Queensland led her to the rusted chained door of Dracula's.

Intrigued by the horror and fascinated by the whole set, she realised this is where she belonged. A week later her bags were packed and she was off to Melbourne Dracula's, where in a matter of days, she secured a job and worked as everything from kitchen hand to waitress to backstage, and finally on stage as a member of the cast. Sounds like a rags to riches fairytale, in one form by day, by night another. Julie is one of Australia's leading stand-up comedians.

Michael Wannenmacher - 'Vile' Lead Male Comic -

Coming fashionably late to the world of acting, Michael has drawn extensively on his disreputable past to create the character of "Stitch" -part punk part rocker, all moron. The last two years ha seen Michael in a variety of situations: He has featured in hot pants at 'Crystal T's (not a pretty sight). Executed Boer prisoners as 'Breaker Morant' at the arts centre in Melbourne, and cooked up a storm as Andy Cooke, chef in Neighbours!. Other roles include 'Benedick' in 'Much Ado About Nothing' at Werribee Park Mansion and 'Dave' in a recent tour of 'Dad and Dave do Hamlet'. You will recognise Mick from his many T.V appearences.

In between times he has been seen in Melbourne doing stand up at 'The Espy', 'The Comics Lounge' and the now sadly defunct 'Stage Time'. Beasts of Burlesque is his fourth production at Dracula's and he hopes to come out a better Vampyre for it.
Mick has started his own film production company, and is currently working on his first short feature. Watch this space!

Jonathan Peck 'Singe' Lead male vocalist and Comedian

The year, 1979. Jonathan grew up in a small town blaah blaah blaah a throng of angry gorillas blaah blaah blaah inducing vomiting blaah blaah blaah found his feet on the stage (previously misplaced).

After completing his prolonged studies in performing arts and founding a successful touring Shakespeare company, some say Jonathan suffered a QLC (Quarter Life Crisis) and went into dark seclusion focusing on writing until his reemergence in June 2005. In the lonely secluded years, Jonathan wrote unrecognized, outrageous, comic, masterpieces (stage and screen) such as “The Amputist” and “Big Bad”. Analysts speculate these works have no social/personal relevance whatsoever.

Shortly after his reintroduction to the world of theatre Jonathan formed an integral comic alliance with fellow comedian Josh ‘paddle-hands’ Cameron. Performing their own unique brand of sketch comedy in events such as “The Wrong Night” part ii, iii, iv, v, vi,  and “The Jaundice Table” (La Mama). Jonathan now enjoys working with the cast and crew of Dracula’s, and hopes you do too…Enjoy him working…at Dracula’s.
